CHAPTER 25
(A.D. 33)
THE PARABLE OF THE TEN VIRGINS
Then shall the Kingdom of Heaven be likened unto ten (the number 10 in the Bible speaks of perfection)virgins (represents those who belong to the Lord), which took their lamps (represents the light of Christ in all Believers), and went forth to meet the bridegroom (Christ).
And five of them were wise, and five were foolish (indicative of modern Christianity).
They who were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them (began to live outside the domain of the Holy Spirit):
But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps (a constant flow of the Spirit within their hearts and lives, which can only come about and be maintained, by ones Faith in Christ and the Cross [Rom. 8:1-2, 11]).
While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept (does not imply by this that they were doing something wrong).
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him (the Rapture of the Church).
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps (but without the oil, the trimming was useless; it is religious activity without the Holy Spirit).
And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out (its too late now!).
But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go you rather to them who sell, and buy for yourselves (proclaims the truth that spiritual energy cannot be derived from others).
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they who were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut (there will come a time, when its too late; today is the day... [Heb. 3:15]).
Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us (because they were religious, they thought they were saved).
But He answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not (millions presently are in the Church, but not in Christ).
Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of Man cometh (our lives are to be lived as if Jesus would come today).
THE PARABLE OF THE TALENTS
For the Kingdom of Heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods (represents Christ at His first Advent).
And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway (immediately) took his journey (every single Believer, none excluded, is given a proper Ministry).
Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents (the talents were awarded according to faithfulness).
And likewise he who had received two, he also gained other two (he was faithful with what he had).
But he who had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lords money (he wasnt faithful).
After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them (service for the Lord ends at death; however, the reckoning is reserved for the Rapture).
And so he who had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, you delivered unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more (this will take place at the Judgment Seat of Christ).
His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of your Lord (as is obvious, it is faithfulness here that is being rewarded; contrary to popular thought, God hasnt called us to be successful, but rather to be faithful).
He also who had received two talents came and said, Lord, you delivered unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them (faithfulness as well!).
His Lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of your Lord (if it is to be noticed, both received equal rewards; as stated, the criterion is faithfulness and not other things).
Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I know you and that you are an hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not planted (pure and simple, his statements constitute a lie):
And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the earth: lo, there you have that which is Yours (the purpose of the talent was not preservation, but rather, multiplication; his action proclaims not only indolence, but as well, insolence; untold numbers, who claim to be Christians, fall into this category).
His Lord answered and said unto him, You wicked and slothful servant, you knew that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not planted (if you really believed that, you would not have done what you did):
You ought therefore to have put My money to the exchangers, and then at My coming I should have received mine own with usury (regrettably, the majority of professors of religion, fall into this category).
Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which has ten talents (this is the law of the faithful; light rejected, is light taken, and given to the one who already has an abundance of light).
For unto every one who has shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him who has not shall be taken away even that which he has (in fact, this happens unnumbered times, every single day; observe religious denominations, which have rejected light!).
And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth (these individuals do not merely lose reward, but rather their souls; all of this, as should be overly obvious, completely refutes the unscriptural doctrine of unconditional eternal security).
JUDGMENT ON THE NATIONS
When the Son of Man shall come in His glory, and all the Holy Angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the Throne of His glory (the Second Coming):
And before Him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats (this is called the judgment of the nations, which will commence at the outset of the Kingdom Age):
And He shall set the sheep on His right hand (refers to nations which would not cooperate with the Antichrist), but the goats on the left (nations which cooperated with the Antichrist).
Then shall the King say unto them on His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world (has nothing to do with Salvation, but rather these particular nations being allowed to enter into the Kingdom Age):
For I was hungry, and you gave Me meat: I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink: I was a stranger, and you took Me in (although the adage proves true for all time, Christ is basically speaking here of Israel and her treatment by various nations during the Great Tribulation):
Naked, and you clothed Me: I was sick, and you visited Me: I was in prison, and you came unto Me.
Then shall the righteous answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry, and fed You? or thirsty, and gave You drink? (The word, righteous, does not pertain to the Righteousness of Christ given to Believers at Salvation, but instead, righteous dealings with Israel by these nations.)
When saw we You a stranger, and took You in? or naked, and clothed You?
Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and came unto You?
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, you have done it unto Me (as stated, the adage holds true for all time, but Christ is primarily speaking here of Israel, and the help given her by certain nations during the Great Tribulation).
Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand (the goat nations), Depart from Me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels (nations that hindered or tried to harm Israel during the Great Tribulation):
For I was hungry, and you gave Me no meat: I was thirsty, and you gave Me no drink:
I was a stranger, and you took Me not in: naked, and you clothed Me not: sick, and in prison, and you visited Me not.
Then shall they also answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto You?
Then shall He answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to Me (to bless one who belongs to God, is to bless God; to harm one who belongs to God, is to harm God; we see here the results of such action).
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal (all of this will happen soon after the Second Coming; the leaders of the nations who tried to help the Antichrist against Israel, during the Great Tribulation, will evidently be executed, and consequently will die eternally lost; conversely, the leaders of the nations who tried to help Israel at that time, will be given an opportunity to accept Christ as Saviour, which they no doubt will, and will thereby be given life eternal).
