CHAPTER 125
AUTHOR UNKNOWN: GOD SURROUNDS AND PROTECTS HIS PEOPLE
1They who trust in the LORD shall be as Mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abides forever. (Despite Satans repeated attacks, God has promised that Zion will always remain. He speaks of Jerusalem. The Muslims should read this!)
2As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about His People from henceforth even forever. (The word henceforth defines the time of the fulfillment of this Prophecy. It will be the morn of Christs Millennial Reign.)
3For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous: lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. (This Passage would have been better translated, The Sceptre of the lawless one [Dan. 11:36; II Thess. 2:8] shall not remain upon the lot of the righteous. The righteous are Christ and all who follow Him. The place is Israel. This Verse predicts the close of the Antichrists reign and of his possession of Gods pleasant land.)
4Do good, O LORD, unto those who be good, and to them who are upright in their hearts.
5As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel. (Righteousness will be rewarded, while wickedness will be judged.)
